Mothers are a gift from God

They give so much love, hope and inspiration

There is nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her children

She would sacrifice her needs and desires

If it meant they would be happy

A mother gives so much and asks for so little

All she wants is to love her children

And to be the best mom

To give them everything they need

To face this mysterious world

Sometimes she can be a super mom

And juggle many things at once

She’s like a mama bear if anyone tries to hurt her children

Whatever it takes to keep them safe

She will lay down her life to protect her children

She knows when her children are hurting

She can feel it miles away

If they are sick

She has a special potion

Her mama medicine

One only she can give because it comes from her heart

She can kiss away the hurt when it’s too much

Make them feel better with her special touch

Mother’s day is a special day to remember mom

But she deserves our love and respect

Throughout the year

Because mothers are special
